My brother, Steve, is an engineer and his wife, Amie, a journalist. They are currently living in Cambodia and have a daughter named Aya <blog>. My sister, Christie, is a registered nurse currently living in Kuwait with her husband Chris who is teaching there <blog>.

Education & Work: I attended the University of Regina where I completed two degrees in 2009, one in Education and the other in Biology. I am currently working in Churchbridge, SK, as the Senior Science teacher at Churchbridge Public School.

Stinky
Here are my two cats, Stinky and Jiggs. Stinky is ~16 years old. How did Stinky get her name? My family got stinky from a farm and she must have thought that everywhere could be a litter box. What she unloaded in our car and house the first day we got her was unprecedented. Evidently, she wasn’t hard to name after that.

This is my cat Jiggs–he’s about 11 or 12. Jiggs is afraid of the world. One time Jiggs was in my sister’s room and when she sniffed, he went flying off the floor petrified. He loves to bite paper. He spends most of his life underneath beds unless I’m home. My dad thinks that Jiggs is dumber than a block of wood—and I’ll admit that not all cat brains are equal.
